Comenius Project Greenville

Packed meeting at Greenville Town Hall tonight.

Comenius Academy agreed to have another QnA meeting prior to going to Greenville's Planning and Zoning Committee. Thanks to all who spoke up with dozens of questions and concerns. My questions included, but are not limited to:

1. Will there be special assessments if/when School Road is reconstructed to support the increase in traffic? If so, how many homeowners effected?

2. How are the concerns being documented and will they be shared with the general public/be on YouTube so that people who couldn't make the meeting can see what was addressed.

I do not support vouchers, they need to be phased out. Historically, private schools are funded first with $700M of vouchers being siphoned out public tax dollars. That is why I want to fund public schools FIRST and have a plan in place for vouchers to be phased out. I am considering students who would like to finish their high school experience and may be on a voucher. I’d like to see vouchers be supplemented and replaced with private funds from big companies like Thrivent Financial.
